IN THE ART WE TRUST – Multimedial Exhibition

The multimedia exhibition “In the art we trust” continues until Sunday, 8 January 2017.
The photographs winners of the contest were selected by a Technical Jury based on the aspects of creativity and originality, technical and aesthetic quality, expressive, interpretational and evocative abilities, in addition to expressing a bond with the territory. Following the announcement and awards ceremony, the large multimedia exhibition continues at MuSA with the most-voted shots among all those taking part in the Pick Your MuSA photo contest, launched on the Ideatre60 platform, promoted and organised by MuSA – Museo Virtuale della Scultura e dell’Architettura (Virtual Museum of Sculpture and Architecture) of Pietrasanta in collaboration with Promo PA Fondazione and Fondazione Italiana Accenture.

The photo contest saw the participation of photographers and fans of the genre, and its intention was to put Pietrasanta and the area of Versilia in the limelight: the territory, the expert hands of the artisans working here, the artists who, for centuries, have called this area home, and the companies that constitute its economy. Unique locations that the lens of the participants captured and described. A first, great multimedia photo exhibition that until January, thanks to the engrossing and suggestive venue, will tell visitors about the soul, the beauty and the excellences in the marble and artisan-artistic sector of the Apuan-Versilia area. Through this new, successful initiative, the material on show contributes to enhancing the real and virtual displays present at the Museum.

It is the very first multimedia photo exhibition, wholly designed and organised by MuSA with the collaboration of Promo PA Fondazione. The beautiful shots can be viewed on the screens inside the hall. The expert and creative work of direction, the engrossing musical accompaniment, the framework of the plasters comprising the “Captains Courageous” permanent exhibition and conferred by the Maquettes’ Museum and by the Municipality of Pietrasanta, contribute to creating a suggestive ambience that highlights the beauty and the excellences of the marble and artisan-artistic sector of the Apuan-Versilia area.

The large screens will feature the most-voted shots among all those taking part in the Pick Your MuSA photo contest, launched on the Ideatre60 platform, promoted and organised by MuSA in collaboration with Promo PA Fondazione and Fondazione Italiana Accenture.
