MuSA Hosts | “Be well with the prevention” by the Italian League to Fight against Cancer – Provincial Section of Lucca.

On Thursday, March 2, MuSA hosts an important meeting for young people: “Proper eating habits can help the fight against tumors”. This is the slogan that the Lucca Provincial Section of LILT intends to use to address the 1st grade students of Pietrasanta that are invited to participate at the meeting.

The goal is to make prevention become the right lifestyle starting from the young age of these guys, who, as adults, will be able to make conscious choices.

With the help of some videos and slides, the biological and scientific bases of cancer will be discussed. There will be experts who will introduce the children in the correct understanding of either biological cancer and prevention / promotion of healthy eating, in order to understand the importance and distinction between disease prevention and health promotion.

At the end of the activity, a competition will be held among students. “STAY WELL WITH PREVENTION – CREATE YOUR OWN SPOT!” Which will require processing of video or slides on prevention. Best judged works will be awarded in April at the second scheduled event at MuSA.

On Tuesday, April 4, the winners of the competition will be proclaimed.
