Unscheduled | Conversation with the Artist: Eppe De Haan
After a little break and after hosting the artists Emanuele Giannelli, Lisa Roggli, Stefano Pierotti, Giovanni Balderi, Yemisi Wilson and Maria Gamundi during the summer, we are delighted to announce a new date: Saturday, October 7th , the Dutch sculptor Eppe De Haan will be our guest.
The meeting will start from the observation of the artist’s work “Resonance”, which is located in the outer space of the MuSA hall since 2016, and will continue with the analysis of artistic career, through anecdotes and experiences up to his future projects.
To accompany the conversation, besides the public partecipation and the questions of the Director of MuSA, Massimo Marsili, there will be a succession of suggestive and representative images and videos on the screens.

Eppe De Haan was born in Arnehem, Holland in 1949. He studied from 1969 to 1974 at the Royal Academy of the Hague.
In 1978 he received the Renswoud Award for Young Painters. He began his artistic career as a painter, “looking for the canvas of what can not be seen”, a research then translated into the tridimensionality of sculpture, following his stay in Pietrasanta around the nineties.
