Più forte del vento (Stronger than the wind)

“Più forte del vento” was born with the aim of contributing to the “rebirth ” of Versilia stripped of thousands of trees after the hurricane of 5 March.
From the union between prominent personalities of the entrepreneurial world and the world of culture, but above all among all those who feel a bond with the territory of Versilia, comes Più Forte Del Vento. This non-profit organisation was born following the hurricane that on 5th March 2015 destroyed thousands of pine trees, and has the goal of helping the Municipalities of Pietrasanta and Forte dei Marmi rebuild and enhance the damaged areas.

And from here stems the idea of ArtEvento: an exhibition of works by around 20 internationally renowned artists, most of whom tied to the territory for years, and who have made important works available for display. Profits will go towards reconstruction works.
The goal is to re-establish the nature destroyed by the hurricane and reinvigorate Versilia’s beautifully rich history of traditions that have always distinguished the area and made it a place of extraordinary charm.

A nature that has brought wellbeing and helped culture to grow. A culture that re-establishes that nature struck by its own excesses.

The association is comprised of a group of founding members, among them the Municipality of Forte dei Marmi through the Associazione Villa Bertelli and the Municipality of Pietrasanta through the Associazione La Versiliana.
