4 Short Film x 1 Director | MuSA hosts Diego Bonuccelli
New appointment at MuSA, Friday, October 27th, for a movie night dedicated to action noir.
The doors of the MuSA are opened to the young and talented director, Diego Bonuccelli, Goodbird Films Production, who has became known all over Italy and not only, as a prodigy behind the film machine but also for the depth of the projects he realises.
His works always obtain a positive approval both by public and critics, as in of the short film “XII844” which won five awards in Trieste, Genoa, the Valsusa Film Festival and two at the local festivals of Camaiore and Pietrasanta . The three-minute short film “The Day of the Partisan” was quoted in the American magazine Hollywood Reporter since it was included in a documentary-film by an Italian-canadian director who later won the Locarno festival.
During the evening there will be two projections (the first starting at 20:45 and the second from 22:15), you will be able to watch four of the many short films that the twenty-four years old Diego has produced so far.
There are several topics dealt with, from the tragic story that history has left us with the massacre made by Nazi troops on the civilian population at Sant’Anna di Stazzema, to the theme of gambling, that will lead the protagonist of the short “More blinding than the night “to the most complete despair when he has to to deal with a violent and feared usurer, interpreted by a charismatic Giorgio Panariello.
In the evening at MuSA, there will be 2 first visions.
Both deal with delicate issues such as loss of work and personal relationships, which often make people commit unusual actions, which are desperate but with the hope of making positive outcomes.
The event will also be animated by a debate on the issues tackled with the director, who will tell the audience, in the room, the reasons that helped him to deal with these issues, to build a plot and to shoot these movies as compelling as deep.
The motto “nothing is impossible” continues Bonuccelli’s work, with its low budget production of high quality and high professionalism.
